UPDATE: Results from my pooled caucus according to the pooled caucus chairman:
16 for Ron Paul
14 for Mike Huckabee
11 for John McCain
7 uncommitted, or PCOs who didn't show but may still be eligible to be automatic delegates
3 for Mitt Romney

Washington State held its precinct caucuses today, the first step in our state's nominating process. My precinct was in a "pooled caucus" with approximately 25 other precincts, averaging about 5 participants each.
My precinct had 8 participants. 1 Romney supporter, 2 Huckabee supporters, 1 McCain supporter, 2 "uncommitteds" and 1 Paul supporter (me).
Our precinct is allocated 2 delegates. There were 5 nominees. 1 Huckabee, 1 Paul (me), 1 McCain, 2 "uncommitteds". On the first and only ballot for delegates, I was tied with the Huckabee supporter for 1st place. So both of us were elected. The alternates are split between McCain, Huckabee and "Uncommitted".
In the other precincts that met in my pooled caucus, it looked to be overwhelmingly for Paul, but I do not yet have the final numbers. There are reports around the state that in some districts and counties, Paul won the most delegates.

My Caucus was in my home, and covered two precincts. There were:
Ron Paul--2
Huckster--2
Romney--1
The Mav-- a big fat ZERO!
yeah baby!

Hi Michelle,
My precinct had 10 show, including the PCOS. 7 were for Romney, 1 for McCain and myself and another lady for Paul. Needless to say, I did not get elected to be a delegate, despite being nominated four times (for del 1 & 2, alt 1 & 2). It was pretty funny. Someone gave me a nice charity vote during one round of voting though--the most I ever got was 3.
Well, it was fun. My first caucus. There were five precincts meeting in our former mayor's house. I don't know the results of the other precincts as they were all still meeting as we left.

So Ron Paul is indeed in third place...Not first. Bless your lying heart -http://lifeoftheparty.typepad.com/life_of_the_party/2008/02/finally-some-re.html
First you glorify your candidate (remember Tancredo) and then you smear the other candidate and then you try to twist the facts. No matter what you do, whine or cry, the John McCain straight talk express will roll over you!!!! I am so glad we have an experienced straight forward moderate conservative as the republican candidate.

Tell me where I lied. This post never said that Ron Paul won the state of Washington, but instead, that had the most delegates in many of the counties that I heard from. Rather the state party is "lying". Nobody actually "won" the state of Washington yet. We haven't chosen delegates for the national convention. Nobody will "win" the state until then.
"Experienced straight forward moderte conservative"? Oh yes, the guy who can get Republicans for Choice AND the National Right to Life support, and the guy about to asssume the Repblican nomination AND is heavily funded by George Soros of MoveON.org
