H/T: Mark Shea.  I see a likeness to John McCain in this too.  He too has "worked hard for this all of his life", and it's "his turn".

As Teddy Roosevelt used to say.."Win or lose its the fight that counts.".TR had it right on war" try to avoid war at all costs,but if it cant be prevented.hit em with all you got!"..On immigration..'America welcomes all who want to come here and learn to speak english..learn about the constitution and become a vital part of American life!"in the pre-amble to his Progressive party ticket he wrote " This is really not a third party ticket..coporations control both parties,they constitute an invisible government thus eliminating a real choice for the american people!" and on conservation " trees are wonderful for birds and to look at,but still if a man wants and needs lumber for his home he must have the right to chop that tree down!" imagine what he would say about the oil barons and their strangle hold on we poor folks !
