Bloggergate is Dead, Now Can We Move On?

Well the scandal is over.  Good ridance.  Michelle Malkin has an excellent round-up, if you haven't been following it, and you really want to know.

If you'll notice, I didn't spend any time writing about the anti-Catholic, foul-mouthed, blaspheming blogger hired onto the John Edwards campaign.  It had plenty of coverage.  As outrageous as it is that a presidential candidate would hire someone who writes such disgusting things about the Blessed Virgin Mary and our Lord Jesus Christ, I didn't think it did much good to draw anymore attention to it.  In fact, probably more people will now read her filth.  Additionally, I don't think the John Edwards campaign will be much of a factor.
